Sunday - Thursday: Noon - Midnight

Friday - Saturday: Noon - 6pm

 

 

Eckles Library is closed for the summer. 


Eckles Library, located on the quad of Mount Vernon Campus, is dedicated to serving the information needs of all GW students, faculty, and staff.

As a member of the GW University Libraries, Eckles shares policies, procedures, and an extensive collection of electronic resources with Gelman Library, the main research library of the university.

Eckles Library provides a comfortable, relaxed academic environment for study, and award-winning staff for research help.

The library is an integral part of student life on Mount Vernon Campus, featuring student artwork and exhibits, and student events. 

Event Spaces

Eckles Library also features spaces that can be reserved for special events.

First Floor Conference Room

This conference room is located on the interior of the Eckles Library. The space hold a maximum capacity of 12 people seated around a rectangular table. Food and drinks are allowed in this space.

Auditorium

Located at the entrance of the Eckles Library, this is a versatile space with carpeted floors, and four TV monitors to display presentations. Eckles Auditorium can hold up to 80 people seated theater style, or fewer people in varying configurations. Food and drinks are allowed in this space.
