Classroom Support

The Faculty and Instructional Support team manages classroom spaces and instructional technology on the Mount Vernon Campus, which hosts multiple academic programs, almost 250 courses, and 5,000 enrolled students each semester. The team provides tools to faculty and students to create the best classroom experiences.

As the chief provider of technology support and knowledge on the Mount Vernon Campus, the Faculty and Instructional Support team works to advance the university’s academic mission to provide innovative solutions in the 21st-century higher education environment, while preserving the legacy of the Mount Vernon Seminary and College.

Technology on Mount Vernon Campus

Mount Vernon Campus is home to 33 technology-enhanced classrooms in six academic buildings. Classrooms on campus are capable of accommodating a wide variety of teaching needs in size, layout, and outfitted equipment. From the advanced technology-equipped spaces in Ames Hall, to the intimate spaces in the Academic Building, as well as the historic architecture of Florence Hollis Hand Chapel, every desired classroom experience can be found on the Mount Vernon Campus.

Reserve Instructional Space

Faculty, staff, and students can reserve classrooms on the Mount Vernon Campus for events, meetings, or academic sessions. Reservation requests are submitted to and approved by the university’s Academic Scheduling Office. 

Academic Courses

To reserve a classroom for a make-up class, review or extra session, please use the university’s Classroom Reservation System. You will receive an email confirmation if your requested reservation is approved.

Non-Academic Courses

To reserve a classroom for a non-academic course event, please also use the university’s Classroom Reservation System. You will receive an email confirmation if your requested reservation is approved.
